Wild mustangs, galloping from long wild dry grasses at the foreground to the immaculately manicured short perfectly rounded blades in the green lawn of the racing track ahead.
They embody the spirit of freedom, and of Nature.
Drawn from the photography of a panoramic group of 9 realistic bronze sculptures Uncle Tom drove Aunt Celia and I to see, within the minimalist business city part of Dallas, Texas, in 2000.
Most of the small "Horse Tableaux" emanate from this series of photographs, and the first mural on canvas in "The Horse Series", "The Galloping Horses", depicts this large group of horses in one full stretch.
