In May 1997, Joyce took a load of semi-figurative paintings depicting multicultural londoniens, as well as 3 large backdrops of painted canvas (some fluorescent and moonlight glow paints involved in the mix) to a squatted venue on Charing Cross road which was holding a one-off dance night called 'The Dirt Box'. The following images were taken at 6 AM, when daylight had returned.
