In a parisian flat belonging to a childhood friend.
Mid-90s.
This circle had been lifted up from my roof-top studio by a strong gust of wind and found itself 4 floors below, in the garden behind our house.
As I retrieved and brought it back up, it had become necessary to further the initial round cut design into the shape of an abstracted giant poppy, which my childhood friend Loys, on a visit, decided to adopt and bring back to his parisian flat under the roof.
